Position Title:

Associate Director

Reports to:

Main Street Pascagoula Executive Director

Overview of position:

The Associate Director will perform duties to help with Main Street Pascagoula day to day operations and special events. Occasional evening and weekend hours required.

 

Part-time: 15-20 hours per week at $15/hr

Job description:

Take an active role in planning and executing Main Street Pascagoula programs and events.

Job responsibilities:
  • Recruit and manage Main Street membership

  • Assist in planning Main Street Pascagoula events and programs.

  • Must be able to work special events; must have a flexible schedule.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job requirements:
  • A self-starter with a strong and independent work ethic. 

  • Event planning, marketing, or public relations skills desired.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.

  • Strong computer skills including spreadsheet applications.

  • Problem solving skills.
